Short answer
Capcom's current release-date update says September 4, 2026. The dated PlayStation Blog preview also states September 4 for PS5, and Nintendo's Switch 2 listing uses the same date.
This Steam storefront currently displays September 3, 2026. That is a store display in the research snapshot, not evidence of one universal release or unlock time.
Treat the September 3 and September 4 difference as a storefront or timezone display difference until an official universal unlock-time notice exists. Before buying or playing, check the date and time shown by your own store.
Confirmed platform picture
The original Capcom announcement identified PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A later Nintendo listing confirms a Nintendo Switch 2 version. That makes the current source-backed platform picture:
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X|S
- PC via Steam
- Nintendo Switch 2
The older Capcom announcement does not list Switch 2 because it predates the later regional Nintendo page. That is why this note uses newer material for the current platform view.
